Timtris
Timtris is a falling-block puzzle game with two ways to play. It runs right here in your browser, with a keyboard or a gamepad.
Classic
Fill a row to clear it, and everything above drops down. Every 10 rows the speed goes up and the blocks change colour. Start at any speed from 0 to 9.
Next
Each stage begins with scattered junk at the bottom of the well. Clear every junk square to win the stage; the next stage brings another row of junk.
Rows don't drop here. Gravity does the work: when a row clears, loose blocks fall into the gaps below. A block stays up only if something holds it from underneath, or if it's joined to a block of the same colour that is held up. Some pieces come in two colours, so they can break apart as they fall. Falling blocks can fill more rows and set off a cascade, and every step of a cascade scores a bonus.
Controls
- Move: Left / Right (gamepad: D-pad)
- Drop faster: Down (D-pad down)
- Rotate clockwise: Up or X (B / east button)
- Rotate counter-clockwise: Z (A / south button)
- Pause: Esc or P (Start)
Menus work with the arrow keys and Enter, the mouse, or a gamepad. Pausing hides the board, so no planning on pause! Your speed, stage and volume choices are saved in your browser.
